This place is terrible. First the stylist kept questioning my chosen cut constantly asking me: are you sure you want to do that?! So finally he switched to another stylist who then told me how bad my current layers were cut, in which I replied: oh, but it was cut here. He also kept asking me if I really wanted it cut like I asked, which made no sense since I had a picture in my hand saying "I want it to look like that".
Basically, I wanted lots of layers. Layers should be simple. But not here. He started cutting, then grabbed a chunk of my front section and... cut half of it off straight across. I said, uh what're you doing? He told me he was cutting the "base layer" for my layers. W.T.F. Then he started to blend it in, but let's be honest, it didn't blend.
Then I told him I had to meet for dinner in an hour. He kept "layering" and started cleaning me up. I'm like, um are you going to layer the back? He said he did and let me have a look. I asked for more layering. Finally he said, well since you have to head to dinner I don't want to rush through your cut, right?, so why don't you go home and see how you feel about the layers and if you want more you can come back this weekend. I was tired of dealing with them so I agreed to leave with a half finished cut.

I've recently moved to Hong Kong and was searching around for somewhere that could do I reasonable haircut for a reasonable price. I used to get my haircut at Toni & Guy in the UK so I'm used to paying a bit of money to get a decent cut. However, the Toni & Guy's here are even more expensive than in the UK so I decided to try something else. Having read mixed reviews about this place, I decided to take the plunge. I can relate to the writer of the only other post here, with the staff attitude. The receptionist didn't even seem to have me booked in and looked completely confused when I turned up. She just left me standing there until all the younger guys, who were eating on the wall outside opposite the shop decided to come inside. Then one of them grabbed a gown and led me off to get my hair washed. All the hairdressers were all young trendy locals, most of which were probably in their early 20s. The salon is very dark, especially downstairs in what is the basement. If I was a woman, who care a lot more about their hair than most men, then I'd have been quaking in my boots! But as I'd actually tried to shave my hair myself and make a right hash of it, I didn't really mind too much and could have come out bald and it would probably be an improvement. Anyway, it turned out that the guy who cut my hair did a pretty decent job. I thought he was going to get the clippers out straight away but actually did the whole cut with sissors. He seemed pretty experienced and was probably the oldest guy there. I'm usually quite chatty when somebody is cutting my hair but this guy didn't want any small talk but just to get the job done! Anyway, this was fair enough so he didn't take too long about it and as I say, came away feeling very happy for just HKD100 price. If you want pampering I wouldn't come here but if you want a decent haircut at a good price try it.

My wife and I had the most awful epxerience at this Salon and would not recommend it at all.
Firstly, the staff are rude and unpleasant. We were sat down to be greated by half the salon staff sitting around us at eating MacDonalds breakfast in the seats next to us.
Secondly, the stylist argued me when I requested a scissors only cut as apposed to clippers. Arguing with customers is probably not a good idea.
Thirdly, after 20 minutes waiting, the stylist eventually started, but cut for a minute and then went off downstairs to do who knows what. This was repeated about 8 times during a haircut that could have taken 10 minutes.
Lastly and most importantly, they butchered my wifes hair to the extent that she was in tears. After requesting only a trim, there were strands more then 8 inches lying on the floor. Her hair was thinned out to such an extent that she is investigating hair extensions now.
Upon complaining to the manager, all we recieved was a mouth full of teeth. We were still charged full price, which was not high, but that is besides the point. When requesting the owners name and contact details, we were given the run around and in the end were told there is not point contacting them as they do not speak english.
Needless to say we will not return and neither will our friend and colleagues.
