SILVERMINE BEACH HOTEL

The Silvermine Beach Hotel is the first hotel on the beach when you get off the Lantau ferry. It's kind of old but it has an undeniable tacky charm and is a good budget option for people who don't have the dosh to pay to stay in Central. The ferry ride to Central is only 35 minutes. There's a cute outdoor restaurant right out front facing the beach and a small pool too.
