RAINBOW SEAFOOD RESTAURANT LAMMA ISLAND

Rainbow Seafood restaurant in Sok Kwu Wan is the grand-daddy of Hong Kong’ s seafood restaurants and has been pleasing tourists for years.Rainbow even has it's own ferry to and from Central pier. Rainbow seems to have the monopoly on the Sok Kwu Wan's seafood strip and they have several areas along the waterfront where you can dine- all of which look similar. There are plastic chairs and either round tables with the lazy susan in the middle or square tables which are right at the front. Weekends can be very lively and it's also a gorgeous place to enjoy the golden light of afternoon.
So what should you order? Pick your catch from the glass aquariums. Why not try the fresh chilli crab, garlic prawns, deep fried squid and steamed Gold Coin Grouper with ginger and spring onions? Feeling bold? How about cuttlefish or razor clams in Szechuan sauce? Seafood doesn’t get any fresher and the fact that you’re dining right on the sea, with spectacular views, makes it taste even better.
