LA KASBAH
This sumptuous North African restaurant is one of the most atmospheric themed restaurants in town. The berber rugs, carved cast-iron lamps and woven pillows add to the exotic Moroccan ambience. The earthy walls harken back to the sand dunes of the Sahara.
The food at La Kasbah is typically North African. It's spiced, but not hot and spicy like Thai food. The food is cooked in traditional earthenware pots. The chef recommends the lamb with couscous, chicken tagine, and the pastilla- a Morrocan sweet and spiced pastry stuffed with pigeon egg and cinnamon. Wash it all down with some mint tea and head over to the Medina bar to enjoy a fruity smoke on the hookah pipe.
