HABIBI CAFE

One of the tastiest and most reasonably priced Mediterranean restaurants in town is Habibi. The casual Habibi cafe which looks a like a coffee shop you'd typically encounter in the Middle East. There are high ceilings with ceiling fans and a long bar at the front where one could imagine old Middle-Eastern men drinking sticky cups of strong Egyptian coffee. There's a TV playing old black and white films from the '50's and there are old black and white framed movie photos on the walls.
Habibi cafe has lunch specials which are quite a good deal, However portions tend to be small. The falafel and hummous are decent and so are the meats grilled from the spit (lamb or chicken shwarma). Though a tad greasy, we also like the Spinach and feta cheese baked in phyllo dough.
