Walking into this chic beach restaurant, you may actually be fooled into thinking you're in the St. Tropez. It’s no surprise that the owner, the chef and the majority of patrons are French. People are even dressed in the "preppie chic" attire so common in the South of France.

The décor is simple yet stylish. The walls are partitioned by bamboo. There are cushy chairs and banquettes featuring a white canvas color scheme. The restaurant enjoys an elevated vantage point from it’s second floor location and it’s view over the scenic Deepwater Bay beach is unbeatable. At night, the shadow of the mountains in the distance and the twinkling lights of the yachts over the bay is very romantic. With hip lounge music playing in the background and the warm breeze coming in from the sea, the atmosphere is a real slice of heaven!

The French/Mediterranean menu, though limited, is quite well-done. Apparently chef Jean-Paul earned two Michelin stars at his former restaurant in the South of France.The nicoise salad or greek salad are a good choice for a hot day. There’s also some fantastic appetizers like feta-cheese wrapped in bacon and main courses feature beef, duck and seafood amongst others. They also serve some pastas and offer menus with several courses for lunch and dinner. If you linger over a long lunch or dinner as the French typically do, a coffee and Calvados is the perfect way to top off your meal. Cococabana can get really packed especially when the weather is nice, so make reservations in advance!
