BLUE ROOM BEACH CLUB

This beachfront restaurant is located on a remote beach on Hong Kong Island called Big Wave Bay. Big wave Bay is one of the most easily accessible places to surf in Hong Kong, hence a few shops selling surf paraphernalia have opened along the charming main alley leading down to the water. At the end of the strip is a funky restaurant called “The Blue Room”. The walls of the restaurant are painted deep blue and feature murals of graffiti and people surfing.The murals change from time to time. There are a few tables which are covered and there are a few open-air tables. All of them face the deep sandy beach. Tiki torches and palm trees add to the place’s Hawaiian atmosphere.The thin crust pizza is the specialty. The Blue Room is quiet during the week, but can get quite packed on the weekends.
