CHUNKING MANSIONS - TAJ MAHAL CLUB
A HK institution notorious for its rickety lifts, junkie-infested stairwells, cheap accommodation, and dodgy moneylenders — Chunking Mansions has also always been THE place to get the cheapest and best Indian food in the city.
You can find Italian and Indian cuisine cross-over in Duetto. If you are a conservative diner, their big terrace overlooking the sea view would be the reason why you return there.
ENOTECA TAPAS AND WINE BAR
This relaxed wine bar serves wonderful tapas, pizzas and salads. There's also a cozy outdoor backyard area and an extensive wine list.
GOOD LUCK THAI
This Thai restaurant hidden at the back alley of LKF has a wide range of Southeast Asian food, from Thai platter to Malaysian Curry to Indonesian Fried rice to Vietnamese Pho Tai. Good food at a fairly low price.
This Indian restaurant on Lower Elgin street is elegant in its simplicity and has decent food at reasonable prices.
HABIBI CAFE
One of the tastiest and most reasonably priced Mediterranean restaurants in town is Habibi. The casual Habibi café and the original Habibi trying to recreate the atmosphere of Cairo in the '30s.
