DUETTO ITALIAN AND INDIAN RESTAURANT
Indian and Italian cuisine at one roof – Duetto is a large restaurant which is good for business lunch and dinner or simply a casual happy hour drink at their terrace with a stunning harbor view.
The restaurant is divided into two sections. The main dining section, Sole, offers plenty of natural light and breath-taking views from glass windows. The room features a “Godfather Table”, offering semi privacy in the middle of the grand room. It also has intimate bar seating for aperitifs. Their smaller dining section, Luna, is designed in copper tones, offering cozy booth seating with hanging oxidised metal lamps and overlooking stonewashed walls with Roman engraved phrases. Duetto’s outdoor seating area on the Tuscan Terrace has stunning views of Victoria harbor and is the perfect place to have a cocktail on a clear day.
You can find Italian and Indian cuisine cross-over in Duetto where the legendary Indian restaurant Viceroy used to be. An Indian Buffer there is only $88 and Italian Executive Lunch starts at $79. Quite a nice deal for the business lunch. At night time you can choose from their a la carte menu and their signature Indian dishes include Tandoori Mixed Grill ($168) and Lamb Dum Biryani ($98). If you prefer some Italian fare you should try their Sliced Veal Loin on Creamy Tuna Sauce and Capers ($138), Homemade Pappardelle with King Prawns & Zucchini ($188) and Sea Bass Roll on Baby Spinach ($178).
Just minutes away from the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre, the customers in Duetto’s are mostly business associates but you also see young crowds there when they have concerts in the convention center. It is a nice place to hang out and have a drink after a gig or a long day in a trade fair. Once a month, they also host a Punchline Comedy Club dinner.
