A HK institution notorious for its rickety lifts, junkie-infested stairwells, cheap accommodation, and dodgy moneylenders — Chunking Mansions has also always been THE place to get the cheapest and best Indian food in the city.

This fusion tapas place has a decent wine list, great Asian tapas and an awesome view for people watching.
DUETTO ITALIAN AND INDIAN RESTAURANT
You can find Italian and Indian cuisine cross-over in Duetto. If you are a conservative diner, their big terrace overlooking the sea view would be the reason why you return there.

Established since 1972, Gaylord is the King and the pioneer of fine Indian cusine in Hong Kong.

Kathmandu Cuisine is a cozy little place hidden behind the Belchers serving some home-made Nepalese food.

This Nepalese restaurant has rustic décor with white-linen tables and Nepalese paintings. The food is similar to Indian cuisine but a bit more western-friendly.

Soho Basecamp is a Indian/Nepalese restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, decent food and a small al fresco area.

An old favourite in Hong Kong, lording it over the intersection between Lyndhurst Terrace and Wellington Street — a glamorously classy establishment serving excellent North Indian fare. A well mixed menu for both vegetarians and meat lovers.
