BLOOM
Bloom, the twin-establishment of the Prohibition era inspired bar Lily, is a sexy old-New-York style dining hall located in LKF Tower.
The place features a wall of floor-to-ceiling black steel grate inspired by old street scape of Manhattan which serves as a backdrop to the 4-meter long solid walnut dining bar you see once you walk down the iron staircase from Lily. All the fresh daily specials are written on the large chalkboard. In Bloom, elegant wall-mounted lanterns, industrial light fixtures and warm candles glow throughout the dining room. And there is a 2-story chandelier hangs just above a circular slab of white marble that adorns the center of a doubleheight dining space whose sides are lined with reclaimed boat wood and tall wire glass panels. You almost feel like you are in an American brasserie in New York City in the 20s.
The Bloom raw bar offers everything from oyster shooters to ceviches and seafood platters with abalone and geoduck. The blackboard specials highlight seasonal produce, seafood catches and specialty cuts of meat fresh from the market. Their full menu focuses on updated classics like bone marrow, grilled beef tongue, pappardelle Bolognese and simple roasts of fish and meats. Food is served till 11pm there so you have plenty of time to sip some wines from their wide selection before filling your stomach with some traditional American dishes.
