RED SOHO
Located on the second floor of Kinwick Centre on Hollywood Road – a space previously occupied by Pure Fitness – RED SoHo brings a relaxed New York-Style restaurant and bar to the popular area.
The 120 seat restaurant, with private dining room for up to 20 and a back bar, is created by leading restaurant designers, B & Co. The earthy tones provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. An open dining lounge fosters a group dining atmosphere, or book the private dining room for intimacy. There's also a cosy back bar for private celebrations, and open glass front gives diners unobstructed views overlooking the Central escalator and it's passerbys.
A full ceiling-height, custom-made black and white mural graphic greets guests upon entry. Diners cross over a slate floor reception that leads into the main dining room, decked in wood and punctuated with large black glass pillars. Red glass semi-circular banquet seating is positioned in between pillars, while tables and white leather chairs fill the spaces either side.
Wine cabinets are custom-designed, custom-made, and fully integrated to create a wall feature along one side of the restaurant that flows into the bar area adorned with black and white marble work with black-upholstered bar stools. Walls coverings are reflective and clean with a combination of white marble, black and red glass, and ebony gloss timber veneer.
Earthy “Red” accents are featured throughout RED SoHo, including red alabaster light fixtures hanging above the main dining room, reflecting the lines of the furnishings. Red glass walls behind the bar and wine cabinets are backlit, casting a warm illumination into the restaurant at night.
The eclectic menu has a focus on “World Fusion” with a distinct American influence. Unlike its LA-Style, health-conscious sister in IFC, RED SoHo, serves New York style portions, many of which are specifically created for family-style sharing. The menu adopts a home-cooked, uncomplicated attitude, and there's an extensive wine list on offer.
Signature dishes include king scallop Ceviche; seafood selections; asparagus panzanella salad; beet apple frisee gorgonzola salad; hero sandwiches; truffled mac and cheese; buttermilk fried chicken; New York strip steak; cote de boeuff; Italian sausage and mixed pepper pizza; Hebrew national hotdogs; New York cheesecake, strawberry shortcake etc.
As an established name with a hugely successful track record, RED SoHo is poised to become a soho hotspot, appealing to everyone from the lazy weekend brunch crowd to the after-hours, hard-core party animals. The seamless integration of space with the newly refitted Pure Fitness above, makes it a natural choice for gym buffs grabbing a salad or sandwich on the go, while power and leisurely lunch goers with more time on their hands are equally welcome.
There's a weekend brunch with DIY Bloody Mary, that includes a tableside carved roast. There are board games available which is ideal for family and friend get-togethers. The complimentary Wi-Fi keeps you connected to the world, whether for business meetings or personal surf-the-Net time.
Live bands and the mash-up style of DJs at both locations will heighten the dining and socialising experience for every patron.
