BOUCHON BISTRO FRANCAIS
Bouchon Bistro Francais is a little corner of Paris in Soho. The cozy French restaurant on Elgin Street creates a charming Parisian Bistro atmosphere with timber furniture, black and white tiled floors, and old wine bottles on shelves. The soft yellow lighting and candle light at night creates a warm ambience. The tables in the front are perfect for people watching while at the back, there's a small outdoor courtyard which offers more privacy.
Jerome Billot, the head chef is a French native. He created a very traditional Parisian bistro menu for Bouchon. There are classics such as Onion Soup, Hand-sliced Bayonne Ham, Foie Gras Torchon, Steak Tartare, Red Wine Braised Beef Cheeks served traditionally in Cocottes, Mullard Duck Leg Confit with Mustard Sauce and Roasted Chicken. Some French people say that the food isn't exactly what you'd get in France however there are tons of French going there so it's not entirely off the mark.
Bouchon Bistro Francais also has an extensive wine list that includes most French regions. They also serve Sunday brunch.
