FEAST (FOOD BY EAST)
Feast is the hotel restaurant at Island East featuring semi-buffet style dining. There, customers can enjoy an array of European and International appetizers and desserts and choose their own main dish during lunch and dinner time.
The main draw at Feast is the amazing 3 course lunch set menu. The mains are edible but the anti-pasti buffet has business people in the busy Tai Koo Shing area flocking like bees to a honeycomb (reservations are a must during the weekdays). Everything on the buffet is super fresh from the crispy lettuce leaves, to the cold cuts, to the specialty soups to the dips (like babganoush). There's always more than 20 appetizers (Parmesan, ham, smoked salmon, antipasto and other tapas, etc) to choose from/ The on the top of their oyster bar with oysters imported from all over the world and long salad bar with various sorts of salads.
The tea even comes out in interestingly designed cups and tea pots. At the dessert bar, around 10 different desserts can be found from the mainstream cheese cakes to, creme brulee to the less common ones such as caramel banana and eton mess.
Their Head Chef, Eddy is a slow-cook master. Therefore, their Tomahawk steak is a must-try item as a main course (for 2). Apart from their steaks, there are also pasta and risotto dishes available to fill your stomach.
This airy restaurant, with its super high ceilings, full length windows and groovy modern décor is a hip place to have a real feast! There's a semi-open kitchen in the middle of the dining hall. The spacious dining room features full-length windows and super high ceilings.
