ENOTECA TAPAS AND WINE BAR

This relaxed wine bar serves wonderful tapas, pizzas, salads and a full weekend brunch. The front has an open-facade and there's also a cozy outdoor backyard area. There's an extensive wine list with over 20 world class wines by the glass and 60 by the bottle.

This Elgin street staple has some of the best tapas in town. The interior is warm, inviting and vaguely Spanish inspired. There are white stucco walls, candlelight and wine bottles used as part of the décor. The tables in the front are great for people watching and the ones towards the back are better for having and intimate conversation. There’s a nice garden area in the back as well.

Our favorite tapas are the pear and gorgonzola bruchettas, the deep-fried pesto chicken and risotto balls, the rosemary beef and the seared tuna. There are also salads, pizzas and mixed appetizer platters. The wine list is good and features a decent selection of old and new world wines.
