COAST BISTRO AND BAR
This new restaurant next to the escalator in Soho is chic and uncomplicated. Coast serves modern Australian cuisine: amazing grills, all day breakfast choices, and great salads. We started with a Roquefort and rocket bruschetta and a chicken salad with tender chunks of chicken that almost seemed like it was cooked sous-vide since it was so soft. There are seafood choices and well as savory pies. The food is decent if not a bit generic (it's comparable to the quality of the Wagyu or Jaspas group) and there's a good wine list.
The decor of the restaurant is simple with warm woods, copper fish sculptures and neutral colored rattan seating or white high chairs. The entire front of the restaurant is open to the street which makes it a brillant people watching spot and a great spot for a Sunday brunch. There's also a large square bar in the middle of the restaurant and a big TV for watching future sporting matches. The service is friendly and attentive.
