BACAR

Bacar does tapas right and true to the heart of tapas culture, it is a place for snacking. Located next to the escalator it is a fabulous people-watching spot as well - and a great happy hour placee too. The narrow venue has two floors. The first floor has velvet chairs, stucco walls and arched ceilings - like an old European wine cave - while the upstairs is warm and inviting.
The tapas dishes are somewhat middle-eastern inspired like the olives, hummus and tabbouleh, zucchini and halloumi fritters with garlic yogurt, and Morrocan spiced tuna skewers. They also have chicken, beef, fish and lamb options as well as pizza. Overall the quality of the tapas is decent, but Bacar is better known as a wine and drinking spot that happens to serve good snacking food too.
