PORTOBELLO
Portobello is a small British style café and bar in Soho. Unlike other venues on the same street, this small place has a relaxing atmosphere and is a good table-for-1 option in the area.
The café and bar has some small arm-sofas facing Staunton Street and a few more white coffee tables at the back. Behind the bar is a large wine and liquor rank. There are a few retro posters on the creamy yellow wall reminding one of Portobello in London. Using high-ceiling lamps and candles, the lighting is soft in Portobello which makes the small café cozy and romantic.
The place offers a variety of cakes and they also have a simple warm dish menu which includes soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis and simple pasta dishes. A set lunch/ tea set is only around $75 HKD – a good price for a comfortable meal at the heart of the busy dining and drinking Soho.
