LIME

Lime is a simple little Thai restaurant decorated with the color of the place’s namesake in the center of Kennedy Town. Its casual, clean dining space does not allow a lot of dine in customers, but you’re always welcome to take away.

The menu offers a variety of Thai dishes made from scratch including the familiar spring rolls. They were made crispy on the outside and the ingredients inside were all scorching hot and bursting with juice – a hint that they were delivered fresh from the wok. The laab is also worth trying – hot minced meat is tactfully rolled in lettuce leaves, dipped into spicy sauce and transported straight to the mouth. The green apple salad – som tam with a twist – is also a must try, given that you are one that is up for spicy, really spicy (but delicious) food. Other items that looks absolutely tempting includes the fried soft shell crab and the banana spring roll with ice cream. Lime is great place to go to if you’re in for a casual, no fuss but quality Thai dining experience.
