STONE NULLAH TAVERN
Located on the intersection of Stone Nullah Road and Queen's Road East, adjacent to the landmark 'Blue House' in Wan Chai, this new liquor bar and kitchen serves modern versions of classic American favorites alongside American craft beers, whiskies, rums and bourbons from boutique brands. It belongs to the same dining group as Posto Pubblico, Linguini Fini and Pizzeria Pubblico.
The eatery is retro and relaxed, featuring an expansive shop front, an oversized window framing the kitchen, as well as pressed tin ceiling tiles, handcrafted furniture, vintage era lighting and timber paneling that create an inviting communal food experience.
The dishes here are seasonal and may change as frequently as weekly, depending on what the local farms produce for them. Don't expect the dishes to come in the stereotypical large American portions - instead, they are in moderate sizes that are good for sharing.
Signatures here include the Cheddarwurst ($150), a homemade pork sausage served with sweet picked apples and a homemade English style mustard, and the Crispy Pig's Head ($160), served with New England style lobster salad and dressed with a chili citronette.
