This restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong is also a shisha and cigar lounge. There's also a great outdoor terrace!
BABY BUDDHA
This little red outdoor/indoor bar is squeezed into an small alley in between buildings. It's so unique, it really works! The crowd is fun and bohemian.
BASSMENT BAR AND RESTAURANT
A basement bar and restaurant at a convenient location. The tiny place serves budget lunch and on weekend nights they always have decent electro music. Having budget food and drinks, no wonder this place is packed with very young people.
BUDDHA LOUNGE
Buddha lounge is a groovy South-East Asian themed bar which has one of the most blasting sound systems in Hong Kong.
CHERI CHERI
This arty gastro-bar has surreal decor, an amazing selection of wines and a local + Euro fashion crowd.
CLIQ
Not that many 'clubs' in Hong Kong feel like a real nightclub. With it's black walls, dark lighting, massive dancefloor and raised DJ platform Cliq fits the nightclub bill.

This small but lively venue has live jazz nights and real absinthe. The crowd is arty and there's a big contingent of Frenchies.
ICE VODKA BAR AT BALALAIKA
This novelty ice bar on the way up to Wyndham street from Lan Kwai Fong is worth a vodka shot stop and is a good photo op.
JOYCE IS NOT HERE
An artist bar which has open-mic nights, live jams and creative gatherings. Serves brunch on weekends.
LINQ
Pottinger Street is full of arty bars and this is one of them. Narrow, lofty and earthy, this bar attracts a chilled crowd of 20 to 30 somethings.
MAKUMBA
This African bar has such a great atmosphere, it's a good place to come for a campy drink despite the random crowd. It's also a fun place to shake your tushie African-style. It's a good 'date' bar.
PARADISO
Paradiso is the grooviest and most unique beachfront venue in Hong Kong. Step inside Paradiso and you feel like you’ve entered a fantastical Flintstones-era aquarium.

SENSE 99
Housed in a really cool old pre-war building, this underground bar is only open on weekends and special occasions. The atmosphere is raw, eclectic and somewhat vintage. Musicians regularly come here for impromptu jam sessions.
SOHO CORNER
This neighborhood dive bar, with it's open facade is one of the best places in Soho to people watch. You'll find yourself lingering longer than expected.
