This popular pub on Lockhart road has a nautical theme with wood floors that looks like boat decking and white doors which can be folded up to create an open façade. There’s a big round bar in the center with glasses hanging down from it. Surrounding the bar are tables with red folding chairs. There are colonial ceiling fans and a pleasant lighting scheme.

Often the place gets crowded and people spill out onto the street. There’s also big screen TVs to watch sports on. Typhoon attracts a professional expat crowd and is probably one of the least sleazy of the bars in Wanchai. The manager is German so you often get a big German contingent.
