1911

This small neighborhood pub on the corner of Staunton and Graham street was one of the first bars in Soho and has been there 15 years. Though unassuming, the venue is full of East meets West colonial charm.
There’s a bar on the right side lined with worn leather stools. The left side has a long banquette running the length of the wall with low stools around the small drink tables. It’s a rectangular-shaped place which is wide enough so that people can walk around, socialize and not feel too cramped. Behind the bar is a mahogany art nouveau cabinet. Hanging from the ceilings are antique-looking Chinese lanterns and the doors have wood and stain glass patterns on them which make the place feel somewhat historic (hence the name 1911).
The down-to-earth crowd is a mix of expats from the neighborhood and foreign-friendly locals. It’s a great place to chill with friends, bring a date for a conversation and not a bad place for watching people as they stroll by Staunton Street.
Happy Hour is from 5-9. Try one of their specialty drinks such as 'The Hong Kong Cheongsam' 'Opium Kiss' or 'Shanghai Passion'.
