PRIVE

Prive is a Wyndham street hotspot that’s big enough to actually qualify as a place to dance. This members only nightclub features sensual Morrocan-influenced décor. Pass through the grand gold doors and you’ll find a dark candle-lit club with a fair sized dance floor. Next to the dance floor, there are huge LCD screens where they play music videos. There’s a large rectangular bar in the center of the club and off to the side there’s a raised platform area with seating and private velvet booths partitioned by silk curtains.

The music varies depending on the DJ, but they often play crowd pleasing tunes, hip-hop, R and B and dance classics. On weekends, Prive is packed and the line behind the velvet ropes can be a complete zoo. Once inside, the crowd is packed with twenty and thirty-somethings. There tends to be a big banker contingent as well as few sexy-dressed girls scattered here and there. Most of the clientele are Chinese raised abroad (either the States, England or Canada.)
