THE PAWN
Housed in an atmospheric heritage building which was built in the late 1800's, early 1900's, this complex is named after what it used to be in the old days- a pawn shop. The lounge at Pawn looks like a cross between a study, a church and a ski lodge with it’s mismatched wooden benches, vintage leather chairs, leather couches and high ceilings.
The highlight of the lounge is the narrow outdoor terrace where you can enjoy cocktails and a nice glass of vino whilst overlooking a classic scene of Hong Kong- neon lights, the tram whirring by and skyscrapers in the distance. On certain nights there’s a jazz band that plays live music and there’s also a beautiful roof terrace in the complex.
The food at Pawn is Modern British cuisine. The bar has a more limited menu than the restaurant. Try the beef carpaccio or the cheese platter. It's not the most amazing food in the world, but the atmosphere makes up for it.
