PARADISO

Paradiso is the grooviest and most unique beachfront venue in Hong Kong. Step inside Paradiso and you feel like you’ve entered a fantastical Flintstones-era aquarium complete with seashell curtains, sand on the floor and giant clam shells over the DJ booth and under the tables. The bar itself is an aquarium with fish swimming inside and all the furniture is made with bamboo or rope and covered in bright zebra-print material.

There’s an outdoor seating area in the front, a bar on against right wall that has a cave-like wall with shelves for the liquor. There’s also a decent sized dance floor and another indoor seating area just next to the entrance. At night, the ceiling, which is made of white parachute material, illuminates and looks like the sky. There are also trippy laser lights which bounce around the dance floor. The place is so imaginative, it looks like it was designed by someone tripping on magic mushrooms.

They play perfect beach music- reggae, chilled house-y lounge music, old soft rock songs, happy remixes of rap songs or sometimes a special DJ comes and spins for special parties and occasions.

Paradiso has great pizzas and bar snacks and is a great place to throw a summer party, take a date somewhere exotic or to chill with friends after a day of fun in the sun.
