OPUS LOUNGE
Opus Lounge is an intimate new cocktail lounge which is an extension of the elegant Opus Grill steakhouse. The newly created bar area has a somewhat retro 60’s feel with framed black and white prints of iconic figures such as Sean Connery as James Bond. Or the Rolling Stones.
The bar has orange uplighting which gives the place glow of gold. There’s seating along the wall and standing room around the bar. They even managed to squeeze a DJ booth in there. At the centerpiece of the lounge is a big square bar where master mixologists, who were hand picked by the owner, are creating great cocktails. We love the coffee martinis and apparently the bartenders know how to make real Manhattans. In addition, they have amazing bar snacks to go with the cocktails like thinly fried parmesan cheese crisps, nuts coated in caramel, fries or mini-burgers.
Opus Lounge is a compact venue where you might want to come if you’re trying to escape the madness of Lily downstairs. It’s a quieter more gentile place where you can enjoy good service, a good conversation and a really well made drink. We expect that Opus Lounge will be frequented by the banker crowd as most of the partners are all bankers and dinner there is quite pricey. Put it on the company coin.
