Glamorous and exotic Lotus wins the prize for the most upscale bar on Pottinger street. The backlit Morrocan-inspired lattice-work on the facade immediately draws your attention. The forward area contains the bar on the left hand side and a long seating area on the right. Catch the tables in the front for a good view of the passerbys on Pottinger street.

The back area has vertical wood paneling on one wall and more of the lattice work on the other wall. The dramatic lighting and the combination of middle-eastern and modern styling makes for a very interesting ambience.

The crowd at Lotus varies. There are alot of Europeans, chic people and a fair share of midlevels residents and well as some out-of-towners (as it's metioned in a few travel guides)
