LE BOUDOIR

Le Boudoir is Hong Kong's sexiest new lounge bar. With it's old school European decor and sultry ambience, Le Boudoir has been drawing a chic, predominantly French crowd.

Le Boudoir could easily replace the now defunct ‘Feather Boa’ Lounge (except the Frenchies have done a better job with the decor). The place is small but undeniably alluring. The interior features red wallpaper with European motifs, chandeliers, velvet seating and gold gilt picture frames hanging on the wall. Interspersed through the venue are small Asian accents like a silk hanging lamp or a mask. As you enter, you’ll find bar seating. Adjacent to this is a square lounge area with stools and couches.

The place just opened and it’s been packed every night. The sound system is quite good considering the small space and the DJs keep the crowd moving and grooving. If only the space was big enough for a dancefloor.

The cocktails are heavenly(even though they don’t carry the famous chocolate martini that brought Feather Boa to fame). The recommended drink to try is the High Heel- a divine elixir made with a blend of different berries, lemon and vodka.
