FEATHER BOA
Feather Boa is a tiny watering hole in Soho which has an vintage Euro feel. It's no that surprise the bar used to be an antiques shop. As you pass through the doors which are adorned with heavy velvet drapes and you'll discover an entrance has a few time-worn sofas and the back area has a tiny bar which can sometimes be hard to reach due to the mass of tightly packed bodies. The dim lighting is accented by candles. This bar has a private location at the end of Staunton Street and despite the fact that there's no sign out front, it's always been popular.
The drinks can be quite strong with martinis, fruit daquiris and sangria being the favorite choices. (The chocolate martinis with the malted milk balls have unsuspectingly kicked our ass a number of times!)
Feather Boa hosts crowd of bankers, Europeans, student-types, out-of towners and the odd hipster. It's not an extremely young crowd- like at Volar. Feather Boa has been around for a number of years. Some say this bar has seen better days and that there seems to be a discriminatory expat-only policy, but it's still a fun place nonetheless. It's easy to talk to people here since since you're basically elbow-to-elbow with your fellow drinkers; however moving around can be a bit of a problem due to the lack of space. Over all, Feather Boa is a good place for a mellow yet social drink.

There is a non-CAUCASIAN expat discriminatory policy. I have observed this in action. Only go there if you have no conscience. No place is ever THAT much fun. This place should be removed from all the guides.
