PHILIA LOUNGE

Philia is an artistic bar and lounge in Arbuthnot Road. As the name suggests, the Greek word means friendship, it is an ideal place to mingle with friends.

The place is decorated in Neo modern Victorian style, the mix of muted green pattern ad black and white rose wallpaper contrasts with the different chandeliers in green and purple hanging from the ceiling, the interesting mix of armchairs and sofas including zebra print Barcelona and traditional Louis XIV chairs in shocking pink velvet.

At Philia, the night starts with chilled out tunes mixed by resident DJ Preston Lau from Miami, and as the night progresses, it changes to upbeat house and electro. If you want something even more relaxing, try jazz night on Tuesdays. Philia also a popular venue for indie music groups such as Songs for Children and Speak-Up to host their events. As an artistic lounge, Philia also features a showcase of quality fine arts which changes every month.
