FRINGE CLUB

Fringe Club can be the pioneer of art/restaurants in Hong Kong. Situated at the top corner of Lan Kwai Fong, the Fringe Club definitely lives up to its mission – providing a platform (doubtless in amazing location) for art and cultural interaction.

The Fringe Club is a protected historical heritage which used to be a chilled warehouse. The revitalization project that transformed the old space into a hip building accommodating 3 galleries, 2 bars, a theater and a rooftop restaurant, definitely shows the creative energy the place generates and regenerates through its regular art exhibitions and events.

The theater on the ground floor is always packed by performance art lovers who cannot help stopping by the entrance before they start enjoying the show as the exhibition area is right near the door. The first floor is M at the Fringe restaurant which has been voted “Hong Kong’s Best Restaurant” for three consecutive years. Above M at the Fringe is the Fringe Fotogalerie/bar where you can get a beer while checking out the latest photography pieces on the wall. My personal favorite is always the rooftop garden. The spacious outdoor area right at the busy Central area offers a quiet relaxing moment to clear your mind after a long day – exactly what you need for some inspiration for artist ideas. Different style of food is offered on different days of the week. Brunch is also offered on Saturdays.
