DHARMA DEN

Brought to you be the same people who created Baby Buddha and Buddha Lounge, Dharma Den is a secret Tibetan themed bar in a building on Lyndhurst Terrace. The walls are decorated with Tibetan script and the ceiling is full of suspended prayer flags. Outside is a beautiful outdoor terrace with wood decking and low seating. The terrace closes at midnight and the inside has sound proofed windows and walls to ensure that loud music can be played till the wee hours.

The drinks at Dharma Den are quite decent due to the meticulous bartenders who take their cocktail-making quite seriously. Wed nights Dharma Den has free cosmos for the ladies from 9pm-2am. The 2-for 1 Happy hour is from 4-10pm daily. Thursday there are live bands playing classic jazz to Jazz funk in the early evening. On other nights special DJs playing electronica draw in an alternative crowd. The bar shuts when the last person goes home. Dharma den also serves coffee during the daylight hours. We hear it’s a chillout lounge from 12pm onwards (do they ever sleep?)
