We were very unimpressed with this club. They advertised that BT (one of the world's foremost trance and nuskool breaks DJs) would be playing on Dec. 26, 2009.

We arrived at the club at 11 pm and asked "Is this the BT party?" to which the greeter replied yes. We then asked what time BT was expected to go on and he said shortly after 1 am.

We then spent the next 2 hours being bombarded with a horrendous top 40 DJ set, played by a cheerful yet terrible DJ. The music was a non-stop barrage of the choruses/climaxes of bad mixes of top 40 tunes. No letting up, no flow, just a barrage of pounding relentlous crap. Some of the folks on the dance floor tried to get into it, but nobody could dance to that garbage for more than 15 minutes at a time. Hardly what one would expect from an event headlined by BT.

At 1:45 am, we were fed up and asked the host where BT was, only to be told that BT was not playing anymore that night and that the advertisement was "a mistake made by the club's marketers".

When we asked for our money back (HK$600 for two), we faced pathetic denials of liability and were asked why we stayed if we did not like the music. Lame and shameful behaviour.

Finally, the manager offerred us 1/2 of our money back, which we took and then berated the original host who LIED to us when we first arrived at the club. He admitted he wasn't sure who BT was when I first asked about him and had no answer for why he said BT would be playing at 1 am, as opposed to - oh I don't know - just being honest and saying I'm not sure, let me find out.

Bottom line: Lame club. Lame host. Lame management. Horrible music, at least on this night.
