CLIQ

There aren’t many nightclubs in Hong Kong that actually give you a feeling of ‘clubbing’ but the new club on the block Cliq, totally fills this description. Cliq is a massive 7000 square foot venue with black walls, dark lighting and plasma TV’s lining the walls. There are two distinct areas which can be closed off to give a more intimate feeling. There’s a large dancefloor in the main section with a stage that has a huge platform for well-known guest DJs. There are also many private booths and a VIP area. On more intimate nights, DJs will spin on dancefloor-level next to the VIP area. Thus far, the crowd has been mixed with Canto-celebs, trendmeisters and international people but it's still too early to know what kind of regulars will eventually be going there. They often have guest DJ’s drawing in large crowds from around Hong Kong. It pays to know the door person as admission into the club can be difficult on certain nights.
