THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER... at least for March

by Katie Forster
I've received a few emails from you asking for more recipes so I absolutely promise I've got a real winner coming up, if you can just sit tight for a couple of days. The simple truth is that I am rubbish at taking photos… and this recipe truly deserves a good photo. So we just need to wait for photographer extraordinaire Boyfriendy to finish his very important banky job for the week and then you can have it all: a recipe, a glam snapshot AND a bit of a ramble from me. Excitement! In all seriousness you will love it. It's delicious and arty to boot with lobster and flower petals amongst the ingredients. Ooooh ahhhhh. Seriously, you won't have seen anything this colorful since that special dream coat Joseph pranced about in for Andrew Lloyd Webber. So be patient please… But of course I wouldn't let you go now without giving you a little something something to chew on over the weekend. Check out this fabuloso brunch, every weekend, for the whole of March at Hullett House:
"Throughout March, Chef Philippe Orrico’s Heritage Champagne Brunch at The Parlour with free-flow Veuve Clicquot champagne will be serving “The Royal Oyster”. Oyster-connoiseurs know this exquisite deep-cupped oyster from Artouan Marsh, south of Marennes in France, for its intense ocean flavours emanating from the mix of salt and fresh waters in the marshland where it is cultivated. Its intense flavours made it a favourite in the Royal Courts of France and in particular with Cardinal Richelieu, France’s first Chief Minister in 17th Century, giving it the name “The Royal Oyster”. On 5th and 6th March, Mr. Teyssier, an ostreiculteur will be present at The Parlour to open the oysters and introduce them to guests.
The impressive brunch feast also includes antipasti and sushi, Chinese delicacies including Dim Sum from the kitchen of Loong Toh Yuen, a range of main courses and a gorgeous dessert spread prepared by Master Pastry Chef Alexis Watrin."
Duration: Every Saturday and Sunday; The Royal Oyster from 1st March to 31st March.
Opening hours: 12:00 to 2:30pm
Price: HK$528 + 10% / HK$368 + 10% for children
Hullett House, No. 2A Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong 3988 0101
