Reality Fashion: Graffiti Street meets Haute Shoe-ture

At a recent fashion/ art happening hosted by Kanchan Couture and UFO art Gallery, a pop-up shop was constructed in the gallery for 72 hours. One of the happenings was called 'White Nights'. Everyone was supposed to come in a white T-shirt- symbolizing the blank canvas- and people were meant to draw and paint on each other to express their creativity.

We asked Kanch how she put together her unique look for the evening.

HHK: Where did you get your outfit?
Kanch: The baby-tee was a limited edition T-shirt I deisgned specially for this event. There's stencil neon painted onto it. I got the skirt in a cheapie mall in Manila and the shoes are from On Pedder (a high end shoe shop on Pedder street in Central)
HHK: Those shoes look expensive!
Kanch: It's some Italian brand Rene something... I got my inspiration for this outfit because I wanted to show how you can mix street style with high fashion.
HHK: Hope you don't get spray paint on them!

If you notice, there's that yellow color again! Even Kanch's toenails are yellow and it looks hot! You can get your neon yellow pedicure at several nail salons in town. (We recommend trying the cagel pedicure at Aquaeria Salon at 7 Glenealy, Central 2526-9313 or pick from our list of nail salons here.

Wow loving those shoes!! Think I will try yellow toes next time as well. Not sure I'll look as good as Kanch with the yellow toes though.
