TGIF! The weekend’s within our reach and we’re feeling GOOD…yet when Monday rolls round, the blues set in. Until Mondays are officially banned forever (please, please, please!), what can we do with the feelings of impending doom, anxiety and depression that cloud the beginning of the working week? One therapy suggests we should get with the flow and rid ourselves of negative energy forever…
Last Monday morning was definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while! I spent it lying comfortably on a massage therapy table whilst my friend and Kinesiologist Eliane tested out the muscle resistance in my arms and legs. Far from being an exercise in muscle strength, Eliane was using the muscle’s responses to communicate with the body and find out about the flow of energy. Living the hectic Hong Kong lifestyle to the full like many, I had been feeling stressed, anxious and a bit down of late, so it was no surprise that she discovered areas of blocked energy.
By pressing on specific acupuncture points, Elaine started working to clear these blockages and negative energy – getting me back into the perfect flow. What can I say - I left her Centre in a Friday mood…
