FLOWER AND TEA INFUSED DELIGHTS @ CAFE, HYATT REGENCY TSIM SHA TSUI
Cafe of Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui is proud to present a series of flower- and tea-infused dishes on a rotational basis at their signature lunch and dinner buffets this August and September.
Start your meal with the array of freshly prepared salads on offer – including roasted pumpkin and green asparagus salad with pumpkin seed and lavender.
Then, fans of Japanese cuisine should move onto the selection of uramaki (inside-out) sushi rolls made with crab meat, salmon or tuna; with fresh small chrysanthemum flowers specially added to refresh diners' taste buds. Alternatively, try some hot Japanese items such as teppanyaki beef with foie gras and lavender gravy sauce; or pork belly wrapped with enoki mushroom and seasoned with green tea salt.
The Chinese kitchen will feature smoked duck in Pu Er tea flavor, fried shrimp and egg white with long jing tea leaves, fresh yam in osmanthus sauce, and the all-time local favorite - Chinese marble egg.
Last but not least, those with a sweet tooth should not miss the tempting dessert bar on show; which features French chocolate earl grey tea cake, blueberry white tea cake, lavender creme brûlée, chilled melon and jasmine soup and Turkish apple tea panna cotta.
